Darkfall. Shame the rest of the game is absolute trash, but the combat is incredibly fun.

Shoulda played DFC, a mud that Mythic ran before they went big with DAoC. The idea of RvRvR with Shines & Idols that grant bonus' to the realm holding those idols originated with DFC.

Full item loot and in the early days had the potential for perma death. Was later replaced by your character becoming gimped until you were able to gather enough money to pay for them to be repaired.

I prefer CS or CS:GO for player vs player combat.

Other good PvP games I enjoyed were Darkfall, and Shadowbane~

Right, way you skill up was so un-intuitive and bad, one magical bush that gives all the herbs in the game... so bad. But 100vs100 city sieges, so fun.
