Hi anyone who has this problem or can help - for the entire day I have been trying to log into the game with both my PC and my MAC and in either case when the server select screen comes up it is blank. This happens often (daily) but was always solved by rebooting something or other - this time nothing works and it's happened all day long. Any info or feedback would be appreciated. Most players that I've talked to in the past have had this problem, but this is the first time I've been totally skunked. Thanks

Having the same issue. Blank server select although login works fine. Never happened to me before. EQEMU website shows P1999 up and running.

Anyone able to shed some light?

Alright, good... It's not just me.

Same issue. Blank server select and Quick Connect doesn't work either. Have restarted machine, etc. multiple times.

Same here although I was able to see servers and log in about an hour or so ago.

ISP is Comcast in case we have that in common.

Comcast here, too. But one of our German guys was having the same problem yesterday (guessing not Comcast) and it cleared up after a while.

Flushing DNS cache didn't help, btw.

edit - comcast has been pretty crappy about stealth packet filtering/prioritizing lately. Wonder if we are getting caught in that ever-changing net.

Comcast. This started about an hour ago. Got kicked while zoning. This has been happening to others since yesterday according to the EQ Project 99 FB group.

I just got in. IDK. I zoned. I am fine. If everyone else is still having the problem keep trying. Or is this resolved for all?

It's been happening for me sporadically for a while now. I'm on some crappy DSL. I usually have to quit out and restart the program a couple of times and it fixes itself. I can't duplicate it on purpose though.

Reboot router/ modem. Unplug and plug in any wall cables. Sediment can build up over time. Basically power cycle everything and reseat anything that carrys data/power. Post back if it's better )

No to the last 2 comments this was different. This was a Comcast thing. I never have any trouble. I did everything like that from the beginning. Didn't help.

Those who are experiencing recurring problems are having a different problem altogether unfortunately.

I get an blank server select if I'm streaming on another computer and have anything else going on in addition to trying to log into Project 1999. As soon as I pause the stream, wait a moment and then try to reconnect, I am able to see the server list. For me, this issue is definitley related to my ISP.

Update:

Issue totally resolved for me as of 11/5

No more problems, seemed to be an ISP hiccup.

I've had the blank server select issue for going on two months now. When I play at work (same ISP with faster up\dl speeds) it never happens. My work computer is vastly inferior to my home computer in every other way.

EDIT: Should also add that I've been playing on the server since it launched with the same computer and ISP and I've never had this problem until ~2 months ago.
