I'm new to p99 and quite excited this even exists, the fact that a pvp server is hosted made me super excited. I took a long break and have been back playing eq for several years now, but the current and only server for pvp on live blows goat sack. its all ppl QQ in general and is just gank then gate out. I have checked out p99 since i found out about it and looks like a pretty lively place, watching the pvp battle in seb made me want to explode with excitement. Since i have been back playing that just doesnt happen on zek, guilds fighting and ppl running around like crazy was what made eq pvp a blast.

I have always been a red player, RZ/SZ was my home for many years, i dont want hugs, i like combat. Looking forward to meeting new people grouping with some and killing the others. If any 1 wants to group or fight hit me up

Speed actually wasn't a bad pvp guy, one thing most people probably don't know is he never griefed gfay like some other people. For some reason speedd wouldn't kill a green unless he was just pissed.

i was a nobody on sz and actually deleted my newt druid to join the good side. i dont remember much because i was pretty casual and young back then but my paladins surname to this day is Darkenbane because they used to give me hell. i wish i could remember shit from back then or had saved my old machine with ss. i cant believe how vivid some of you guys memories are but then again i got my brain rattled pretty hard my last deployment and my memory has been fucked ever since.

they are just hating. i dont agree with some of the stuff you say or do but darkenbane was legit. at least its one of the only things that stick out in my mind. i dont remember how sucessful you guys were raiding wise but I knew if i saw you guys in zone you were hunting my ass or other players whereas some guilds you could count on just passing by or farming.

well thats a pretty big fuckin advantage. to assume everyone was cheating when I know that was not the case personally is just dumb. although there are a few exceptions, the trend on red99 has been that people who were "good" on live got a reality check when they kept revisiting their bind on red99.

I'm not gonna BS tho they're were alot of Db using cheats but it was all the shitty blue raiders not the pvp'ers. Most of the guys responsible for those points weren't using cheats.

Unlike Kirban who I saw first hand use speed hack and got busted infront of me by Head GM on Sullon. If you ask me that made all his kills questionable and not legit. Fact it wasn't until Ykesha that ToW beat DBC in pts.

Fact everyone in Inkara was once DBC, Inkara left from DBC, they didn't merge into DBC. It was Saradins guild. Saradin was an officer of DB on Rallos FOR YEARS! The only reason a few members went back to DBC from Inkara was because Saradin left EQ to play Shadowbane with Begotten.

Strange argument for someone who obv came back to it. I was in high school in 2004, and i enjoyed eq just like some people enjoyed other games. In college i played the merged server, and that was enjoyable to me

None of the good pvpers still played on sullon then is my point the boards are BS then because scrubs won by default. Laurenthalasa is ranked #1 fer Christ sakes i used to draught her to death with 5 other goods on me. Obviously you don't understand what I said earlier, half of those names on that list no longer played 2006, they were riding old pts. That is a list of ghosts and some new scrubs that came up due to an empty void in skilled players.

Because I was playing with them on WoW you tard, everyone from Rallos and Sullon rolled the same WoW server. All the good PvP guilds were on WoW by 2004, only nightriders and firegiants still played EQ.

I know half of those people on that list from multiple games. I know they're RL names and i know for a fact most people on top 20 were long gone before 2006.

Once POP released, that's when <Hate> came out to play. Can't blame them, 3 insta kill classes and safe zones makes pvp difficult.

I joined late Luclin after Nine disbanded. Draganov and Deas went neutral, Herb quit and I joined Hate. We were actually considering guildwaring them for fun after we jacked up Infeste Nex pretty good.

A) dedicate time to a niche web site that not everybody on the red server care about or would use. Extra csr work to a leaderboard.
B) trust one of us with access to the server's stats and worry about somehow one of the neckbeards find a backdoor in.

In short, it's a headache that they don't need.

Except before the fix around next expansion luclin wizards would burn from 100% to 0 with an ability called manaburn. Only after the fix (to implement a hard cap, like this server) for how much damage a nuke could do in a hit. This is, i'm willing to bet, why swyft quit.

Well a lot of players who are all about raid mobs try to claim to be pvp'ers but In my mind a true pvper has a shit ton of solo kills. Which secludes the vast majority of tow from being considered good pvp'ers. Although there were a few descent pvper's they primarily acted as a zerg and resorted to superior numbers to win.
