Currently, there is a thread in Server Chat on the P99 forums surrounding camp disputes, and which is a nice seque for discussion of how to prevent similar disputes from arising at Velious launch. Especially about Ziglark since a guild could potentially block other guilds or the server from content.

During that debate, a few points were raised which I think should be addressed prior to Velious:

1. New members to the server are expressing frustration from the lack of a unified body of rules - especially surrounding camp disputes.
2. How camps are handed off is not clear.

First, let me remind everyone that at Kunark we had a similar problem over a number of camps but especially over the HS key (Prod Camp), and over the course of a few months a ruling was handed down by the existing Staff. Those rules can be found here:

The rules at that time were quite clear:
1. People needed to be present at the camp to be added to the list,
2. The list rotated once an individual received their key piece,
3. Folks present at the camp had to maintain and inform anyone of the current list,
4. Anyone present at the camp could be asked to be added to the list,
5. Individuals not present when a new ph spawned were dropped from the list.

Divinity would ask the staff to consider implementing the previous rule set that determined during Kunark release for camps in Velious when it was released. Secondly, we would like to hear any guilds input on whether the existing rule set could be improved.

lets focus on kunark problems for now, there surely are enough of them.

and we'll tackle velious problems when it gets closer to release.
