7 Games of 100+ yards to open the season. First player in NFL history. DeMarco Murray all day. I am predicting 100+ yards for every game even the Super Bowl this year.

Well I was hoping it would be the Bengals vs the Cowboys but the damn Bengals are turning into shit without AJ Green

Cowboys will never win a Super Bowl with Romo at the helm.

Murray is not even a top 5 rb... That o line could possibly be one of the best ever though. Eagles will still win the east and boys might catch a wildcard.

dont see how the eagles will be able to win either game vs dallas unless dallas takes some serious injuries. Eagles have a very lackluster defense and offense really missing desean jackson. Murray might get 200 on that crew. And for all you romo haters:

League so skewed towards offense right now, and passing in particular. Don't think anyone considers Romo a bad QB, but he has choked in the post season enough I think that is where doubt comes in. That was the rub on Peyton Manning for a long time too though, to be fair.

i honestly think there is a pretty good chance of the AP thing. dont know how were going to pay him, murray and dez though. romo and witten will probably just take paycuts again~

Elspeth

and that was mostly for pitborn who said the team wont win with romo at qb. not only is romo statistically one of the best QBs of all time, but its the plays he makes that dont show up on the stat sheet. Its the broken tackles and jukes he makes in the pocket time and time again to make the big plays down the field. this is often referred to as "playing beyond the X's and O's". Ask JJ Watt what he thinks of tony romo.

Culpepper would have been an MVP with his 2004 stats basically any year he played except that one, with Manning breaking Marino's TD record.

I would think you'd find bigger fault in Chad Pennington, Andy Dalton, Matt Schaub, Jeff Garcia and Carson Palmer on that list...Culpepper was better than any of them until he blew out his knee.

List is obvious crap though. I mean does anyone in their right mind think Phillip Rivers is a better QB than Joe Montana, Dan Marino, Steve Young, Drew Brees or Tom Brady? And I'm not sure if I'd put Dalton in the top 20 of current active QBs let alone all time.

Manning broke farve td record Marino threw 420 kids!! But no one had 30 td seasons back then and that's an average year now. Fins up fuckers

this list is passer rating, QBR is a stat ESPN made up a few years ago that takes more than passing stats into consideration. these are all time stats and the numbers are what they are.

their 4 losses have been tactical losses.

if my tactical losses you mean your o-line cant block and your QB is mediocre at best, then yes, you are correct.

Cutler isn't bad, as you mentioned his o-line sucks. Crappy teams make the quarterbacks look bad. There are only a handful of quarterbacks that can perform well with a bad o line. Brady is a good example this year. Then you have teams like the Seahawks that make mediocre quarterbacks look good like Russel Wilson.

That's the thing, they aren't just what they are. There are a reason guys like Dalton are on this list, and someone like Fran Tarkenton or John Elway is not. The current NFL has had about 100 rule changes in the last 10-15 years to make it easier to pass the football which has in turn lead to inflated passer stats. It's like the HR totals in the baseball steroid era...you aren't comparing apples to apples.

A much better rating would be something like WAR in baseball that takes into account league averages and a player relative to them. Then you'd see about 75% of that list change. Marino's numbers were silly compared to his peers but look just above average now. Can you honestly with a straight face say that Chad Pennington is a better QB than Dan Marino? That is essentially what you're doing when you defend that list as having any type of real world application in regards to measuring skill.

dallas o-line is the best in football right now hands down. And Murray is a top 3 rb do the math.. I love romo but I still got to see him not brain fart before I believe it.
