I would love to see some type of timeline, or what is missing in the Velious release other than beta testing quests. Any type of coding that could be open-sourced to speed up the project?

There is no velious expansion you scrubs, beta will go live from velious sometime year after next and stay there as a third server. Red and blue will not be seeing any expansions.
