I've got an iksar necro alt that i'll gladly duo with you when you're in range (and until you're out of range).

My play time isn't huge and it's split with my ranger, but it's nice being able to at least duo when it's available since its a HUGE increase in xp/hour.

i know that is like perma - FOTM, but i just wanna play a necro (and run around as a skelli). I also like that i dont see very many around and like the challenge of changing peoples minds about their group utility - kind of like how a well played druid can be near the top of raid DPS charts, necros can bring a lot to groups.

A shaman can has better soloing capabilities end game than necro, being able to do things like bugs and crypt in Seb.

Necros can solo super efficiently with charm burn and generally have many undead exp zones: Kurns > Unrest > Kaesora > Lguk > Karnors > Howling Stones.

Shaman's can also charm burn between level 29 and 39, however due to only having low level druid charm, it loses effectiveness pretty quickly and it would be better to group.

All in all, for PVE the ultimate Iksar trio would be shaman, necro and monk, although you can substitute monk for warrior or shadowknight, however monks are the most efficient melee dps.

As someone who recently leveled up here as IKS necro/sham I loved it.

With the addition of a monk and/or warrior the group gets incredibly OP when using necro heals constantly, its rare the shaman ever heals.
