SK Race

Hi All,

Was looking to make an Iksar SK but i hear they can't wear plate. Is this a major factor, does it change in velious? I'd rather not be a troll/ogre if i can avoid it plus i enjoy the Iksar starting area.

I had an Iksar SK on live many years back & it was a blast.
Some will say Ogre for stun immunity & Strength

The Wiki has write ups in the class/race combos about pro's & con's for certain ones.

Iksars can wear plate armor in velious for the most part. You also will get access to the Greenmist eventually.

I guess the point is play what is fun to you..in the end it really doesn't matter. I had a Gnome SK on live..that was the business.

You will spend a lot of hours with your char, so I suggest take the race you like for his look, lore, etc.

My toon is a SK troll and in spite of his big xp penalti I love play him. If i werent troll, i would choose iksar or ogre. I will never play Human, Erudite, gnome or whatever shit race that I dont like.

Have to agree.. played a troll SK on Rz up to 65... the Regen was cool.. but ogre is just so much beast mode... fantastic tanking and casting... but either troll or Ogre will work...

Play whatever race you like the most looks wise IMO. For min max purposes Ogre stun immunity is really good on Sk's to avoid getting based / spells interrupted
