30 dead without a Griffenne Charm. Have any/many had the same experience?

LOL. Sorry to laugh. Just thought it was funny you went from "sad life" to "it's an okay life".

And I can't remember ever killing one but if I did, it wasn't cuz I was hunting one for any reason. It must have got up in my face.

while doing wisps for GLSs in NK I killed 30-40 griffenes until I saw a drop

after a charm finally dropped, I alt-left clicked it about a dozen times because I didn't believe it was real

sometimes it just takes a dang while to get it

I remember them being relatively uncommon (note 1/30 more like 1/5) when I killed those for exp on my druid.

This was back in 2011. Back then many spawns in NK were static. I could charm kill 2 griffennes that were static close together then AFK for 5min. It was pretty sweet.

Recently I got a port to NK, and was headed towards WK when I saw an OOC that someone was paying 200p to loot a griffene charm. I saw one and killed it. It had the charm, so I got my 200p and zoned to WK.

Sounds like bad luck.

Curious. Sounds a lot like my cadence using ooc to announce "Looking for a Griffenne Charm - holler if you see one rotting! [Paying 200p/Donating welll!]"

that's a god awful piece of lambent to acquire. the charm is so stupidly rare. you're so much better off just waiting and camping for a bracer of scavenging

Bad RNG. id always get the charm after 1-3 kills. it was the bracelet off the greater darkbones in unrest that took me hours.
