Why the hell do people think Erudin is a good choice?

The zone is a fucking tomb if you don't have max faction - there is only 1 way in and out. Also the faction grind alone leaves many guild members vulnerable to gank squads and to burning out...

Yes they have nasty GMs, but what's the point if you're going to die 20-50 times trying to get faction... Also it doesn't stop casters from nuking at max range and zoning... Don't believe me, look up the historic data on Nilly deaths while they made their guild bind Erudin...

At least in Paineel, if someone gets guildmaster aggro, they will get harm touched and can't simply train out because they need to wait for an elevator... So many better choices...

But this is just dumb, what is the point of having a portal near your guild bind? Makes it easy for gank crews to roll in. Your porters should be bound there, so they can gate and do ports.

Plus Paineel is located next to the same druid and wiz portal.

I'm still failing to see the logic.

Maybe once Velious comes out sure, but when that happens, the warrens (http://wiki.project1999.com/The_Warrens) will be open, making faction way easier...

You guys had superior Kunark mobility being bound in Kaesora, plus all your Iksars will be safe with a Cabilis bind... Dat level 5 brain rot has now been upgraded to level 6...

PS: I would just recommend Paineel faction so much easier... you can at least get coffins for your Necros. Also the SK GMs are in a nice closed building, so much better than open areas where wizards can nuke and run...

Plus they got boxed port mules doing ports 24x7...

PS: I believe ports to EJ become unlocked in Velious, so u can port there from anywhere...

Cabilis faction is not easy, especially shadowknight faction and those guards are everywhere.

Kelethin/Felwithe is pretty easy to get faction and they've got wiz and druid ports nearby. Wiz spire is in Gfay, and Steamfont Druid port is like 25 seconds away.

I always wondered about Erudin myself. Akanon would be good if big races could reach the banker.

The bone chip quest is easier than getting Erudin merchant faction as an evil race; did you even check that shit out? Drakar is barely apprehensive with skele form to those merchants and I spent over 20 hours on that grind, WHILE using CoS to do hand ins (bypassing elf faction), before invis questing got nerfed...

You have to get wood elf faction to do the quest in freeport, then once u get the faction (so another faction grind arch), you do the quest repeatedly to get an item used to do a hand in located in toxx... where u gotta do more quest hand ins...

As opposed to joining a seb farm group a few times and handing in stacks of bone chips... (As for erudin faction, you still need to do a bagillion faction hits for the basic guard faction and the 'bones' quest)....

The succor point is right at the gate in tox too for both porting classes so AFTER a raid u can basically bring your whole guild back home within minutes.

You know the warrior faction is the easiest to raise right?... You don't do the bone chip quest for Trooper faction... you do the bonechips for the monks, crusaders and merchants...

You get trooper faction from killing iksar outcasts, goblins, sarnaks and seb frogloks...
