New to Everquest! Here are my first three hours in a short series!

Right there is the link. I appreciate any constructive feedback. I've decided to continue the series and step my editing and just general gameplay game up since I got a positive response from www.reddit.com/r/project1999

I just want to entertain so I hope you enjoy. Also note: with the exception of the second video, I will be avoiding all guides. I will ask players for tips in person when I need them, but I don't want to use online resources.

Also, the more stuff you have on you (including copper, silver, gold, etc.) the more weight your character will have, and the more damage you'll take from falling. Kudos!

Yes. An extraordinary recipie for success is it not? Truly, I am a prodigy in the arts of video commentary. And yes. I do have ranged attacks now and they make the game a lot easier

But seriously, I'm assuming by range you mean pvp range or something because it seems i can't pvp yet. Don't worry your pretty little face about it though. I'm a gaming masochist. And as long as there is myself to talk to, and a crowd to watch and enjoy, I'll stay sane and happy.

Don't kill the thread. Just know that the majority of players on this server do not go to the forums. Although those that do share the info with people in game. Keep up the videos and post the links as they come out and you should get the response you desire.

Also please post your reaction and trying to play while Veemo is drunk, when I saw you trying to buy water from a liqour merchant I knew we were in for a good time, but then the video cut out!:D

Cannot wait, really can't your series is great. Also someone pointed this out in game not sure if you saw the tell but /corpse will pull your corpse to you if its out of reach or stuck in a tree/ground/wall.:D

Not really, I feel you are killing it right now. Loved when you transitioned showing how much time you ran around looking for guildhall. Things like that highlight what makes this game special. Just keep the commentary coming.

Last episode was great. Have to fill each slot of the pixie pouch with one dust, then click combine before you turn it in. Not sure what happened with the orc hatchet quest haha, I think you might've turned in a rusty axe instead of an orc hatchet and that messed up the quest or something. Either that or the quest is broken!

Also, you're too low level to PvP, which means you have to target someone and type /duel to fight them. Not sure what level you need to be for full PK status. Food will let you recover hit points and endurance, and drink lets you recover mana, but you don't need to consume them right away for it to start working. Just put 'em in your inventory or a bag!

Also, alcoholic drinks don't help you recover mana like normal drinks, but if you drink enough of them you can build up your alcohol tolerance and you'll see a temporary increase in strength.

You can tell who is a valid target for pvp as their name will be red iirc.

You need to train Kick.

Go to the ranger guild to do so. Then make a hotkey at put it on your hotbar alongside your other buttons

This coin you found there... if you want to find out more about it ask a high level enchanter. Nothing that your character really needs. The related quest is funny though, involves traveling to a lot of different places.

Both should roll mages, with 2 pets would be easy to steamroll through newbie mobs, also the are nukers so your spells won't overlap. Kind of cool when you can have different types of pets out later to compliment eachother. Can also solo if friend quits. Would be like a group of 4 and since your grouped your pets are not stealing any xp. Doesn't matter how much dmg they do you get the full xp.:D

Also as for race Darkelf is cool, has an awesome home city, and hide is is nice to afk or kill pet. If you don't want to be evil then Gnome is great choice starting area is great and can stay there til teens.

Mages don't need buffs, Pets do it all. Could do Mage/ENC but then you will regret now having CLR/ENC later.

Dude, that last video was HILARIOUS.. You cant buff a lower level buff on you of the same spell line if u have one already on you, for example u had heroic bond the strongest health/ac spell in the game, you wont be able to cast another lower one like u had..
Keep the videos up man you made a GREAT choice going to red and I promise if u stick and grind it out to 60 you will have insane fun.

I suggest you go into the options window and change the colours for text when you are getting hit. This will help you notice when you are getting hit more easily and could save that warlord incident happening again ;).

And destroy your copper/silver when you are encumbered instead of those precious crushbone belts!

Edit: press F1 to target yourself and then F2 - F6 to target group members 2 - 6. If you are a pet class you can press F1 twice to target yourself then your pet. I think the same might work for F2-F6 if any of those group members are pet classes?

I definitely noticed how boring power leveling would be to watch, and with that, I have been actively avoiding any such situation. I like the twinking though, it allows for some fun times trying to avoid them. And if I ever get caught out in the open, it might make for some funny content that will be quite different from the usual grind

I have only watched the first 10 videos but i dont think you have done the classic misstake of accidentally hitting your GM with autoattack only to be oneshotted by said GM. :-)

I've been posting about once a week now, i've found an alright pace. IDK how long I'm gonna keep up the p99 series though, it's been great playing with y'all but a man's gotta diversify and thrive because this train has already hit critical mass a long while ago and is on its way out. I might slow down and continue posting, but I only have about 1 hour of content left on my harddrive and I don't know when I'm recording next.
