Running across velious, even as a bard, is horrible. I can't wait to see red99 200 man server with kunark/velious. The large zones that people can hide in and not be reached without minutes of running @ sow speed or bard selos. Gonna have to have level 30-40 rangers in nearby zones if u want to know where someone is! Going to have to be a new fight spot somewhere like outside thurg

Lord Bob has pretty much awful loot other than maybe resist click cap, Velk has shit loot and will prolly never be killed by anyone, and you're better off farming gems in SG / DN than Velk.

could always go fuck with the one person camping Stormfeather in Iceclad or the RMTing 60 Necro with Lodizal on timer

maybe Crystal Caverns for low-mid level pvp. Loved that zone because it wasn't easy to zone out and plug once you were in.


every other vel zone was basically endless ice and loneliness

staff should implement a Forever Alone DoT that kicks in if you spend more than 30 minutes in that, so players have no choice but to pvp 8)

I've been always opposed to velious with a nonexistent player base like we have. Even worse now without nihilum, much worse. Classic pvp is the only solution with a new server

And PoP introduced PoK books and instanced content (albeit just PoTime), was the beginning of the end of EQ PVP. Even Luclin introduced instagib abilities and safe zones. No classic PVP server should go past Velious.

months of 1-2 group content? first off 2 groups is a raid, second off I cant think of anything you can do with 1 group that will progress your char other then camping cards in pom.

Yes pop introduced pok books, the greatest invention of eq , and aside from time there were no instances. Safe zones are important for going afk. Also sorry to say the best eq pvp you will ever see will be in qvic for tacvi and in wall of slaughter. Classic pvp is just stupid kiting, for more examples watch any of the stupid pvp videos here.

Literally 0 reason to go to Velks. GD will be avoided because guilds will still use their guild binds and just port in mass from them to CS / WL. Cool story though, maybe one day you'll learn 2 play kid ;)

I thought there were some decent haste gloves in Velks along with armor quest gem drops. It was a decent leveling spot and I remember PVP in Velks on RZ.

Red is a top heavy low pop server where everyone is either level 60 full gear or level 1 newb unrest. No one will need the gear from ToFS / Velk's when their alts have CoF's and T-Staff's. It isn't EQ Live. Also gem drop rate in velks is fucking awful.
