So you own a firearm and you are a black ghetto kid? I am really at a loss of words for your built up frustration.

Back to the question, I am not really a fan of the .380 but it seems to be the "fad" right now. Not sure why but if I conceal and carry its gotta be 9mm or higher.

For a carry piece the G42 = no thanks for me. .380 is just bleh. Basic carry rule, carry the biggest round you can control and accurately shoot every time. But if you are old/weak .380 might be your only option other than a weak .22.

If not a carry piece, then what ever blows your skirt up.

6+1 of .380?

I'll keep my g26, thank you very much.

Not to mention the g26 is about as small as I can comfortably shoot anyways, and I don't have overly large hands either. Why not just use a .38 revolver that's similar size but can be loaded with +p or even .357? Just for easier reloads? I guess it IS really light... but still!

I have a G19, but from reading this I think you all have excellent tastes

G26 is a nice gun, just too fat for me for summer carry. If I'm going to carry something that fat I'll go with my G19, which I will likely do soon as winter is coming on and easier to conceal. Summer I'm running a slim single stack. XDs 9mm currently.

The XDs isn't a comfortable shoot imo, after 100 rounds your hand will feel it, even with 9mm instead of the .45. But it's slim, accurate, and easy for me to shoot on the draw, which is what matters to me for a carry piece.

Shouldn't carry anything less than a 9 MM imo, which is what Glock 43 will be. I carry the XDS 9 though, the only thing you're getting with the G42 is 'ooh ahh it's a glock'. Functionally it's not much different from other guns on the market, and some of them have it beat in size and capacity.

With that said, I do like my Glock 19 as well.

Not allowed to conceal carry in MD unless you can prove your life is threatened, but for home defense I have a 12ga Remington 870

My carry gun is a G27, I used to carry a G23 but got tired of the weight. I dig the .40.
