Seems like most of the players I meet on this server are from SZ or TZ/VZ. Occasionally I meet a RZ player. But most of us came form one pvp server or another.

For everyone else that enjoyed/wanted to enjoy the event, I'm sorry that a minority ruined it for the rest of you. I have my breaking point just like anyone else, and tonight I reached that point. It makes it exceedingly difficult to give a single fuck about this community when I spend 3 hours live streaming a very complex and involved encounter only to get shit on from multiple sides - including the side I was trying to help out by bringing the server together. You can call this me being "too sensitive" or w/e you want to chalk it up to, but the bottom line is I put up with a lot of shit from this community, and still wanted to provide a fun experience for everyone to enjoy. After tonight, I'm finding it really hard to care.

Words of advice; grow some thick skin, lvling up you'll encounter people who out gear you 50 to 1 and take pride in slewing noobs. Once you reach the 40+ bracket things slow down until your mid 50s then it's pvp central. By that time, you should be partially ready for it gear wise.

He's said many times on the boards PvP is all about gear. Yet the guy has been here about a year, has one of the best geared shaman's on the server. And in that time he hasn't killed a single player here. He only logged in for raid day on the largest zerg blue guild on the server.

There were deleveled rogues early on because you kept full skills when you deleveled, so you could be a level 10 rogue with 200 backstab skill, and it was insane 1 hit kill left and right, so at that point no one needed epics if they were even released yet.

Sometime in luclin era people got bored and had surplus good gear and made epic twinks, it took a while but by pop there were a lot of them. Then ldon came out with augments effectively ending item loot so everyone that was cool sold all of their plat on EGI, and then the servers merged and the rest of the people clinging to the game quit too.

Fungi twinks were pretty hard to find for me, but there were a lot of ikky regen twinks and that was really the main thing I went after. FBSS was consolation prize.

ye once pop came out FoB became the low level pvp battle ground. sometimes clicking on that book meant instant death. i have better memory of people back then because i played a little more. people like greenfairy, i will probably never forget. fuckin crazy times but i finally quit around ldon. fungi twinks were very rare. thats why i laugh when people talk about twinking killing lowbies is classic. twinks back then had a mith 2 hander or some shit. nothing like you see on here.

Lots of fun. Crying like a baby for a P99 rallos zek item loot server is the main reason I come to the forums. I am afraid of the eventually making a teams server and having item loot there, because I feel hardcoded teams are a recipe for failure, but all of the blue emu guys from R99 that only care about pixels will take that as a sign that item loot is bad.

If this happened the server would be fun, however I believe that the population would dwindle due to the fear of losing items

The max level 60 characters who only log in to raid with 20+ do not contribute to server health or community anyways at least not to the population of startup players who would easily be hooked on the game if there was a ton of action beginning at level 1.

Mad players would be guys with lots of valuable droppables who don't want to lose it....they can probably adapt like everyone else.

I think we would gain as many players as we lose, probably more. Game becomes dynamic and exciting rather than stagnant and boring.

With item loot, there is a reason to engage in PVP combat rather than just avoid it, and then use it to disrupt raids at level 60 like the current game.

^ yup. Kills matter and safe groups with trusty members matter on item loot. Guys won't just group with a random known retard because he is the only DPS class in the area and he seems friendly at that moment, because he puts their group in significant item loss jeopardy.

Friends are friendlier, enemies are more scary. Its better from every point of view besides the max level 60 point of view who wants to AFK while medding and come back without item loss.

There are a lot of risks that come with item loot and crazy ragequitters are just one of them. Maybe guilds would hesitate to treat their members like garbage in the face of these risks.

Yeah unfortunately a lot of players here are late comer guys who mostly care about pixel stockpiling or vz/tz guys who are afraid of risk taking in pvp.

It really doesn't make sense since blue99 has all the pixels you can count, no reason not to make the pvp server the real deal.

You will find that no one really bothers to hunt down twink pks because there is no reason to bother. Pvp mainly happens to high 50s groups and to grief raids.

Stick around and help me beg for item loot. Its a good server just partly carebear.

Sadly so. No item loot here. And try as I might I just can't seriously get into playing here without it. There's no risk vs. reward in PvP here unless you're fighting for a raid target.

Which Xblade were you talking about? The human pally or someone else?

RZ 1999- till just before server merger. lvl 15 necro Darkspirit snare and fear scourge of qeynos hills along with akalakamelee as dps. lvl 30 barb war Bloodspiller scourge of oasis. i do agree that item loot should be brought to red you would end up seeing the true pvpr's and those that will run and plugg more so than they do now to avoid yt and i dont remember who the idiot was that said RZ had a leaderboard but that is false info unless it was after merger. your leader board on rz was what you put in your inspect screen. i say any old school RZ or SZ players come play you will have fun even without item loot nothing like ganking an idiot with over 300pp on them and being able to thank them for giving you pp to buy something you needed.
