I posted about this before but if they did do a wipe...or perhaps if/when they release teams99 I pray to Karana they dont ever release Kunark. PVP crowd is too small to justify such an expansion.

I can see myself PVPing and having fun for several years on the classic pre expansion sandbox.

Wipe or not. People just do the same shit over and over, very endlessly. Wipe makes it more interesting though. It's like shaking the bag of marbles everytime b4 u dump it out.

half the server got a 2 week suspension, pretty much the whole reason i even used it. ever have a monk out track you as a ranger in an outside zone? now take that to the next level where your spending hours of your time raiding vs 300+ other players that wanted your raid target and were using seq too. I'll be honest, as someone who one of the main pullers for VD. I'll tell you it was a must to use seq vs other guilds Pullers.

Havent used seq since 2011. I dont need it, since other players arent using it either(i hope)

Using it in pvp is like playing Russian roulette sure you might get a few trigger pulls in but eventually your gonna run into a player who can tell and bang banned.

Well maybe, we can like bribe someone so like the servers can have some kind of accidental accident with water or falling and hitting the floor during routine maintenance and u know have to be restarted from fresh cause like the backups were lost some how.

The staff has always said no wipes but once Velious opens up they will have a free server to do something with. I have seen several people suggest it before, use the free server to start fresh, whether it is teams, etc. and have it merge with Red99 every 1-2 years. Then you can have a server that starts fresh every 1-2 years without technically having a wipe.

I believe there are still long term plans for a T99 server and that will likely result in an eventual merge with the preferred (more popular) ruleset. I do not think there is enough population to sustain two PVP servers on this emu.

There is about 0% chance of anything happening or even being discussed with any seriousness until Velious is out though.

Now there will be 3 major guilds and allies contesting for Velious mobs, instead of one. Seems like a more than fair trade off.

I was bound in PoM during Velious. Fact is it takes 50% les red player's to kill a mob as it did on blue server's, always was that way, is still that way here. But gratz on thinking killing mobs on 15 year old game is so hard, and that's why you have zero pvp kills.

People have sorted themselves in to Neckbeards, Semi-Neckbeards, Casuals, and Very Casuals by natural selection -- and that won't change with a wipe.

You cannot beat Neckbeards at EQ; this is their realm.

ACTUALLY in retrospect,
