2nd Monitor issue

I haven't logged into P99 since I bought my second monitor. When I try to open the game, it opens in windowed mode way off to the left where I can't click on the bar to drag it into a decent spot. All I can see is a bit of the right edge and bottom border.

When I hit alt + enter to try to full screen, it mainly goes black but it still has the EQ cursor so its like its just mispositioned there as well.

Any suggestions would be great.

Unfortunately with two monitors (at least for some folks) you get the black screen/cursor on the login/server select screens when in full screen mode. Once you get to character select full screen should work fine but until that screen you need to stay in windowed mode. I think the blank screen/cursor is a separate issue from your windowed location problem.

In order to relocate the offscreen window hold shift and then right click the program in the task bar in order to bring up the required menu. Select move and your cursor should change the cursor to a four directional arrow indicating you can move the window by using the arrow keys.

Okay. So this is why I could not log in. I unpluged my second monitor.. and it fixed it.

Will I have to unplug my second monitor everytime I want to play EQ?

You don't need to unplug your second monitor. Just hit Alt + Enter to switch to windowed mode. Login and once you are in the game world hit Alt + Enter again to go to fullscreen.
