If your asking if hardcore is a part of seasons then...yes. Ladder = Seasons with a few tweaks.

I honestly got burned out of D3 after a month or so with my monk but the big patch has re-energized my willingness to play. My first session back i encountered a 8+ goblin pack.

Gaming addiction is a real problem. I think it's Finland or Sweden (?) where it's officially recognized and dealt with more seriously. Here in the US I think it's lumped up with a million other addictions all under the same term. The problem is there's no organized approach to address it in the US.

I wonder if someday we'll have to be 18+ to game? Remember at one time during the medieval ages people of all ages drank almost exclusively alcohol because water would become contaminated. Don't think just because kids game it's always remain that way. If it's a real threat it'll eventually be restricted.

I doubt it, though I can see your point. I've been lurking over on Twitch and the amount of 10-17 year olds streaming is definitely going up.

As with anything else (food, alcohol, etc) its just about having some self discipline and taking it all in moderation...maybe that's what needs to be reinforced.

As EQ players, we'll perhaps always struggle in the winter months ;)

lol lotta mad in this thread. that was about 1 hour a day tops just putting up auctions, averaged out to 10/hr which is fine by me for a video game. I didn't even do it every day, and only showed you one random sampling. Overall I made just under 1 grand, again 1 hr a day, after my full-time job. seems like a good deal to make that kinda cash off a hobby in your spare time. Most would expect nothing.

Seasons is the best thing to ever happy to D3 for me. I got 70 within 3 hours (lol) then I wasn't bored! Seems much more meaningful to me than just Normal non ladders.

farmed 5 piece raekors today and also got a nearly perfect maximus and then died. HC gives me the feels.

haha MrGoochio. I died Wednesday on my level 67 WD, called in sick to work Thursday, got back to 70 and am on the farm. If you want some help leveling, look me up. Can do the low level torment 6 thing and I can clear houses in Westmarch -- gets you up to 45 ish in a bit over an hour.

70 WD, 80 paragon HC Seasons speed running t1s and t2s; 800k damage and some pretty crazy item abilities. I want to level up some Grift gems tonight so leveling 0 tokens to about level 15-17 then using them to upgrade if anyone wants to play. Usually play with 2 or 3 so 1-2 spots open most times -- undergeared is fine but you're responsible for your own survival.
