I would rather get Thursday Night Fights made a consistent thing, or maybe a new round of BotB with level range battle royales so everyone has a chance to participate.

I could even ask people to donate items as prizes for the battle royales. I might even try to set some up soon just for fun. A GM to sanction the matches and summon people would help, but a system by the players for the players might be exactly the type of thng Red could use.

I will think up the specifics later, but I am really liking the idea and may have to try it even if I have to provide all the ports and items myself.

I am serious about doing this. It might blow up in my face, but if the event can engender a tiny bit of friendly competition it will be something to build on. I will draft an outline and send it to you because a GM will almost certainly be needed to play peacekeeper.

The first time will be the test to see how it works. I want the players to be involved so it is not the responsibility of you GMs to do everything and if players put it effort to help create it, they will be far less likely to tear it down. A joint effort would make having regular events a lot easier, and eventually I want to begin a new Best of the Best but with teams like 2v2. 3v3 and 6v6.

I have to leave but I will send you a PM later tonight or tomorrow with details. Please check your PMs this time lol. Last time I sent one I waited weeks for a response and still had to make an angry post insulting the GMs just to get acknowledged. =P

We will always support player-run events. If people let us know what they want to do we can assign staff as needed. 90% of PvP events don't even need a GM = a Guide or even just the players can often take care of everything needed for the event.

Where would you even get this from? GM's aren't allowed to play characters on either server. Guides can, but Guides can't summon items/mobs/get spawntimers/do much of anything. I banned myself the same day I became a GM.

I don't see any problem streaming Red 99...? Or speaking with it's members? All Red 99 footage is pre-recorded. We have an open invitation to pretty much anyone who's willing to be on stream and be a respectful guest (IE, we aren't going to bring someone on who's just going to be negative/rude/whatever the whole time). If you'd listened to that segment, you'd have noticed that after Lite said that we pointed out that complaining a lot just makes us ignore you.

It may seem like this from wherever you're sitting, but the bottom line is that one side will always feel like they are being treated unfairly. We can see this again and again, because no matter what decision we make, someone feels it's the wrong call/biased/whatever. I also don't see how there can be too much involvement from the CSR staff. We have a mostly 'hands-off' policy on Red 99 when it comes to player disputes and such. The only time we step in is when things get excessive/highly offensive/breaks a server rule.

We realize Gyno is a troll. He's also a part of the community. If it just turns into a fishing show, we'll shut it down.

I feel like I just got trolled, but if not, I feel like your view of the CSR staff is heavily skewed and biased. We do our very best to stay fair and impartial and I feel like we do a pretty damn good job of it, especially considering how much hate we get either way - it'd be easy to let that influence our decisions and effect the calls we make - but we don't. One of the things I always point out to people is that we have to look at the big picture when it comes to the server - we can't just look out for the interests of one particular group. This often makes it seem like you may be getting treated unfairly when, in reality, its necessary for the whole picture. That can be extremely difficult to see when you're heavily invested in a character and a faction.

That's part of the reason why we can't play toons on p99 :)

-we informed the guild of information pertaining to their guild. anything else we may say publicly is because its already public information.
-false. GMs are not allowed to play on p99.
-also false. when i stream red content, i am playing pre-recorded footage, and not live footage, specifically because i dont want to hurt a players game play experience. we also clearly told Lite that his tears didnt mean shit to us.
-if you think a staff member is acting unfairly or with bias, then you need to gather up some proof, or at least a reason why, and send it to Nilbog, Rogean, or both.
