Any suggestions on a good 3rd for a Shaman/Monk combo? Enchanter is probably the best, but trying to think of other good options. Kinda want to play my Rogue, but he obviously lacks utility to compliment the other 2. What about a Druid or Necro?

Is this really just a go Enchanter, it's the best scenario?

rogue sounds cool, added dps will greatly supplement the monk. just have to be careful of aggro, need a pro on the rogue.

I have leveled my Monk to 37 with a Shaman and SK in a trio. Very solid so far. All Ikky too!

Nothing else is really going to come close to enchanter if played properly. However, if enchanter is just going to be a braindead buffbot, might as well go with rogue/anything else.

ANY class will do well filling out that trio, really. Personally I'd add a chanter (IF the chanter is going to play well and charm regularly/always) or a necro. Mage or druid or bard would be nice as well.

The necro would largely just be for utility though right? Shaman can regen to offset lich, necro can heal shaman canni, mez, charm if undead. I can't see dots/dps being that useful aside from charm with a twinked monk.

Charming necro, druid, and enc are some of the best dps in the game, bar none. I would only level in places where there was a viable charm. Necro's also bring snare.

DPS is always useful. Necros bring considerable AND versatile DPS to smaller groups. They've got unresistable stuff, they've got efficient stuff, they've got a pet for steady damage, they can charm for amazing damage... all the while also bringing the support of heals and pull help and scouting and CC and CRing and stuff like that too.

I was just thinking, say monk pulls 3+ - if sham/nec CC while monk beats down mob #1 both the necro/sham rotting the others while they are root CC'd could be a nice deal. Twitch is good for help with heals in those situations.

Monk/nec could prob pull really well together? then again so could a rogue sneak pulling.

Rogue 55+ could allow access to Crypt for the 3 so that is a major + :)

Like someone said, anything is good in this combo - I feel like rogue opening up locked doors would be the most valuable of a bonus, idk...

Hmm.. I think Rogue...

Like lets say this group got to 60 - the trio with a rogue would be pretty set for camping pretty much anything.

i just dont know!!!
