Hello, Crestfallen here. I downloaded all the files got the login done, but when I log into the game it says that I need to DL spell files because they are out of date. I have dled the v33 files 2 times and still getting that message on the character creation screen. any help will be appreciated.

are you extracting it to the EQ directory (you'll know cause it prompts you to replace existing files)? Are you using EQ Titanium base install?
