The wiki says that /pet health reports not only the pet health but status of buffs or damage shields. It doesn't for me it only reports health. Is there another command that does?

No, as much as I would love that, I think its deemed "Classic", that will most likely not be implemented. I too want to know duration of his buffs. =/

I think there is a legit third party app that tracks chat logs and displays timers. I don't use it, so I don't know what it's called...but I'm fairly certain it exists and is okay to use.
