Pretty sure he took money that was given directly through the pantheon website and actual investors not the kickstarter money since it was never collected.

I'm really trying to stay neutral til I see something more final but you can't help looking at some of those screenshots and thinking its some weird blend between 2004 EQ2 graphics (trying to look real but didnt age well), and landscapes that look really rushed.

They can turn it around, I hope... and give us something that isn't full of DLC and cash shop crap.

I don't really care how good/bad the graphics are, as long as the game has some good feeling gameplay.

Sure, but for a lot of gamers (particularly younger ones) there's a fondness of visual aesthetics - it can only help the game if they can nail it ;)
