Monk 2h vs DW

Its pretty standard that pre-20 a set of trance sticks or whatnot is best for twinkage. Once the dmg cap is lifted then its best to move into 2hb such as a WQS, PB, Tstaff or whatever 2hb you find yourself with.

The tricky part comes 40+ when the main hand dmg bonus gets higher and higher to the point where switching back to a addy/sos DW combo becomes higher dps.

My thoughts on the matter would be to hold onto a 2hb until 50 when addy club can proc and ride this to epic+sos. The only stipulation would be the tstaff which would remain viable throughout due to its mouth-watering proc and dmg/delay.

Just my two cents. Any thoughts?

I would love to know the answer to this as well. Thinking about getting a peacebringer, I am currently level 27 and been seeing other monks doing well with them. I have JM and SOS currently.

I think 2hb with PB/Tstaff/RFS its better to use them till 50. Then only tstaff and rfs post 50 pre epic.

Anything like WQS or worse would merit a switch to addy/sos dw combo.

Replace jade mace with ADA club. My monk with that and sos was doing a ton of damage. Normally 60-70 per hit with both weapons starting at 30.
