PSA: Spear traps are serious business

After a night of running through this trap and brushing off the negligible damage, I killed the last mob I needed to ding 29. Before its corpse even hit the ground, I was impaled by spears and robbed of my level... I was dead in a split second.

Tread carefully.

I've seen this bug on another server, where one trap in Sola will just spam you with damage and insta-kill you. Not sure if it was like that on live, but I'd lean towards no.

I happen to FD right under the rock door that goes up and down in Solb one time and just continuously got crushed for 50 over and over. Was just glad it didnt break FD.

Every time something like this happens to me I think its Sirken invisible testing me for some reason & when I die hes like, 'oops I didn't mean to kill him' - I always expect a tell from him that's like, 'sorry was testing to see if you were a robot or something, *summon*...

I never get the tell, its always me that gets myself into these bad luck eq situations :(
