I actually think variance with lots of small guilds is really cool. I was against variance when it was just nillyzerg because I thought it played into their hand and forced them to zerg even more. But now with the new reality of many small guilds, it will be great.

Coming from the point of view if I was willing to put in the same 12hrs+ into EQ a day and make any raid time for variance, I wouldn't care much if it were in or not. But I do think it would just make things worse for some people and guilds, Though it would give smaller guilds and such a higher chance at getting more spawns. But from what I have read about the last 2-3 weeks on the server, Azrael/Hokuten has done pretty well? 2 PD kills, VS and some other things?

The amount of sow swords/crown of riles azrael has had drop(unless I am just being trolled by made up drops, didn't look much to verify) compared to amount of total PD/druushk kills itself is pretty crazy lucky too having seen weeks of repops with none straight.
