If You Could 2box on Red: In Theory Thread.

I am not talking about mini-max'ing.... I am talking about what 2 classes you would enjoy playing on Red in a 2box setting and not be pushed in to playing for max efficiency classes you don't enjoy.

Considering both PvE+PvP, and boxing in both contexts.

I.e 2x Druids, 2x Wizards, or Wiz+Druid with targeting/assist macro's etc would be great for PvP, but what about PvE?

Personally I'd do Pal+Shm, not great PvPability I'd think, but as far as survivability+pve'ing it might be viable. Stuns, Slows, Buffs, Rez, Heals, DoTs, Tank and Spank combo and as we all know in Velious both classes become better than in Classic/Kunark.

Depends how self sufficient you want to be and if you just want speed to 60 or want to actually do some good money/item camps later on. Can't beat ench/cleric for PVE farming at the end game. Druid/mage super fast level combo with utility.

The thing about allowing boxing on a pvp server, Most people can't box for shit when it comes to PVP and are generally worse off boxing then they would have been playing 1v1. The easiest might be a full buffed cleric just spamming heals, But from vztz which had boxing most people were terrible at it which lead to many easy kills.

edit - shaman/monk most likely though! I would say rogue/shaman, but that wouldn't work too well since by time a shaman would be able to torpor slow tank stuff for the rogue to backstab you wouldn't need exp anymore. Never been a huge fan of wizards/druids/mages granted with the right gear they are pretty rape.

i have a p2 400mhz 8mb of ram, shared video card, i can just barely run 2 boxes at 15fps each, there is no way i could run another

id do mage / necro. i just think itd be fun.

I have tried, its to hard. you have to keep 2 casters moving, you'd need to use MQ, or you do it the ghetto way and auto run the other caster away from the battle while using the other cast to nuke. rinse repeat, its a pain in the ass.

Ogre SK and Halfing Cleric was lots of fun post 50 and on raids.. Good utility, simple to play... could also do some cool things with CH and FD. though sk Shaman was pretty sweet... just takes more clicking..

After 2 boxing for so long on VZTZ playing one toon was pretty boring to me...
