Transferring money between toons question

So would buying gems in a city be the easiest / safest way to transfer money between toons ? Is there a particular gem that would sell back for essentially the same coin ? So i could just drop bags and collect on the other toon ? :D

If your gona do a couple hundred pp, use rubies. Everything else (spells, gear) buy and transfer to the person you want it on.

I believe elf leaf has a really narrow buy/sell margin. Peridots are pretty easy as well. Bout 10.4pp to buy and Sell for 9.7 or so. I think Elf Leaf from the gypsy camps has a better ratio though
