My birthday present to myself just came in the mail today. I have always used cherry MX switches but these keys have such a great feel to them. What kind of board do yall have?

I use this. Even if some people scoff at razer, a blue switch is a blue switch. Plus the lights are cool.

My buddy has a das ultimate and its super well built but I wanted a tenkeyless version and das does not offer that (atleast not on its website).

My GF ordered me this keycap set which i'm pretty excited to get

That is a membrane keyboard.

"mechanical keyboards use switches with springs while most keyboards use switches with rubber domes for the action. mechanical keyswitches are generally smooth and precise while rubber dome keyswitches are spongey."

I guess I'd have to use one to know what the fuss is.
