A couple of Opalline earrings would likely help you towards your goal, sure as sure. Unsure of how much they go for, though that's an extra 10Cha with two of them.

Edit: What Nightblade said.

Goes for around 50-150p each.

I was charming on my newbie enchanter and even with 130 cha my charm was breaking immediately after landing on the mob. I cast charm 6 times in a row and had this happen. Is this normal? I only got charm to last longer than 1 tick just once where it lasted almost the full duration. This was on a blue con desert madman.

I believe it is bugged from what I have read here.

I don't intend to even bother relying on it. I may try it, but only when I know I have an "out" of the fight if it fails. I certainly wouldn't go for any group strategy that includes charm :)

My guess is charm from 12-20 suffers from the decreased stat values. Your 255 cha level 12 enchanter will get squat for it.

I can't say for certain, but I believe the value of charisma scales with the level of the character, just like int. There's no reason it shouldn't.

My enchanter had 220 cha or so at 23.. if you choose areas with a lot of room to move, Charm is definitely worth it. The Millers/Surefall Glade guards, for example, are 25 and easily charm burnable by an enchanter twink at 22.

I'd like to add that Splitpaw has all your enchanter needs, if you're heavily geared and like to charm burn.
