In regards to Nizzar and Nihilum

We have our own reasons for letting these two continue to play here. Suffice it to say they both provided information that allowed them to stick around. It's funny though that the same people crying foul that Nizzar is allowed to play here aren't also crying foul over Sektor retaining that same privilege?

O, I forgot, we should just press the magic "never play here again, scumbag!" button every-time we ban someone for RMT. It uses the powers of the internet wizards to make sure those people can never connect again.
Neither of these things has anything to do with me - if we shut down Nihilum, they would roll Nihilum 2.0. Or am I just supposed to ban every guild member to ensure that... Azrael and Hokuten can compete with each other...?

I mean, what actually happens if we remove Nihilum from the server? Hundreds of people start flooding back to... farm pixels on a PvP box? You're telling me we have a 200 a night box pop, with plenty of room for two guilds, but nobody will come play because there's only one guild? I don't get it.

In regards to Cast

any guild that i find knowingly harboring the player known as Cast/Illi/etc, will have their guild leaders and guild officers accounts banned and/or suspended. and that includes shot callers that don't physically hold an officer or leader tag.

Any players that give, sell, borrow, or loan an acct to the player known as Cast/Illi/etc, will lose those accounts forever.

there will be no second chances, no apologies, and no mercy. plan accordingly.


So let me get this straight when it comes to Nihilum their guildleader is not held accountable for guild members...Training, Building and handing out compiles for ShowEq, RMT ringleading HIMSELF, and numerous other crimes we have proof to! And those are only the offenses we have proof of god knows how many we don't know about. But there is absolutely no way they can stop him or hold the guild accountable for members actions! But when it comes to Cast they seem to have solutions stopping him from rerolling?

That's really not the point. If Nizzar bought some stuff to gear his characters like Sektor did I wouldn't really have a problem with it. But hoarding endgame gear, inflating the economy and locking new players out of endgame items you don't need just to sell them is server impacting! All these things have a huge detrimental effect upon server pop, and puts both projects in jeopardy because it directly breaks the EMU copyrights to Sony.

It also makes a direct mockery of the staff who don't get paid for the work they do, while he gets paid simply to play.

Not only that but how many strikes does the guy get? Everytime he's caught for something it's treated like a first offense and he suffers the same penalty another player would, even though he's been doing account after account.

Same with the guild, how many RMT, Training, ShowEQ, MQ offense's does the guild have to eat before the officers are held responsible for their guilds actions! I mean fuck they weren't only using show eq they were making their own fucking compiles of it and distributing them to guildmates. Which it directly stats in Terms of Service is against the rules here.

There has never been a friendly community on a pvp server in the History of MMO's. The biggest turn off for real PvP's is someone cheating and constantly getting away with it.

All i do everytime I log in is PvP with Cot and my FoH allies. I fight outnumbered and undergeared each day and prevail with one of the cleanest whistles on the server, and I hold everyone else to the same standards I give myself.

"Try leveling and gearing out that many characters and acquiring as much loot as was banned on his accounts... then complain the punishment wasn't severe enough."


To be honest Nizzar took a savage pixel hit for the one thing he was caught doing.

The only point that remains in my book after what happened to him is basically is he reformed, is he going to try and bug out every raid encounter possible in Velious etc.

You neglected to mention all of the other buying/selling you've done on this server, however, and that's what you ended up eating bans for. Had you been up-front about that in the beginning, your ass likely would have only taken a minor burn instead of being doused in gasoline and lit on fire.

I hate to say it, but in terms of RMT, Nizzar was like a mobile food cart. He was hardly worth popping, but was a high value target because of his position as a guild leader. If I wanted to make a name for myself I'd release a list of "big time" RMT'ers I've either completely eliminated or reduced to almost nothing. I guess the recognition has never meant much to me - at least half of my work here on project 1999 will never be publicized, but is absolutely necessary for the project, and I'm ok with that.

Whoa, let's not play the "If this was blue game" because if this server was treated like blue we'd have 1,000+ players, a host of bugs fixed, and GMs on to resolve issues like jerks training pets for exp loss.

I logged on another account and continued my conversation in OOC without using a bad words, but rubbing it in a lil that his ban did nothing to me, so he banned that account. I logged on a 3rd account and asked in OOC if anyone had any info on Zade so that I could dox him, turns out I was right and he was nilly scum the entire time.

Spammed the forums a lil somethin u kno how I do, then I disappeared for a few weeks or a month and when I came back Sirken had put a hit out on me even though he knew I hadn't "played" on this shitbox in well over a year. I'm still not sure why he was so angry, Zade was obviously scum like Amelinda. Everyone (hell maybe even Sirken) on staff is on the take or in cahoots. Only reason Ame$linda got booted was because it became public knowledge so they had to cut off the sweet candy creator before she ruined the golden goose.

Community needs to step up and work to improve itself, not put it all on the staff.

We've gone over this a bunch of times. It'd be pretty simple to clean up a lot of the bullshit that goes on around here, and we wouldn't have to issue a single ban. Guild leaders take responsibility for your members. When you see them stepping out of line, dock them DKP. If they do it again, suspend them from raiding for a month. Pretty easy, and I guarantee you the community would shape up quick. Most of the bullshit rhetoric stems from the guild feud that's been going on for years.

Instead, we have guild leaders ignoring legitimate claims during raid disputes by other guild leaders. Officers actively encouraging the bullshit that goes over these forums and in-game. Nobody from either side stepping in to say "enough is enough, it's time to care about the box more than ourselves."

We can only do so much before it's up to you. But I guess it's easier to blame the staff than try to improve the community together.

Server's problem is the people. So many dirty whistles and nobody wants to turn anybody in because there would be less pop, especially if that person is in your guild.

I was simply pointing out that is indeed quite possible for someone to be perma-banned here. Cast was simply the only person I know of that attained that status.

And I'm glad Cast chimed in and shared with us the reason he was perma-banned!

So now we know being disrespectful to staff= Perma-Ban.

But Train, Exploit, RMT multiple times, Strip accounts, have more guildmates banned under your watch than every other guild combined, and you'll be welcomed back!

Too bad project 1999 code isn't public so they can just hold it over everyone's head and put no effort into properly running an honest server. If the information was public this server wouldn't even be around and the servers we could have would be better. It would be better for the community but not Rogean. It shows what is important to him, definitely not creating the best classic experience because anyone with that in mind would share with the community.

Yeah, Aussie has been pretty aussome with every issue I have ever had, which is not many. Ive only maybe petitioned 3 times total since i have been here on server, but he is timely and cool every time. Dudes legit. Actually all of the staff has been amazing.
