The small guild managed to take the dragon, Azrael and Nihilum had a great battle, and everyone enjoyed themselves. Probably the most successful event in the history of Red. Then sim repops were completely discontinued and the population was allowed to tank.

I enjoyed playing then but to be fair HB was already losing interest at this point. Most people needed their "Messiah" to look up to and when RD went into recession he was ready to call it and the guild was never surviving without him.

I remember when red dawn had a bad wipe. Azrael showed up and bind camped them for a few hours naked. Nihilum didn't assist that day. That's the day red dawn started to break down.

Azrael had a lot to do with Red Dawn disbanding, as well as the exp bonus removal.

just a reminder of what was lost when sim repops were discontinued, now that they are bakc in action. I think if they stop happening a lot of people that are starting to make a small come back for these ones, will not be seen again. Sim repops paves the road towards contesting.

if a guild is more interested in griefing newbies and cryin on the forums than recruiting players and gearing them up, guild leadership is not for you. if ur more interested in funneling items to your personal pals and RMTing VP loots to the highest bidder than being self sacrificing and democratic, guild leadership is not for you. if ur more interested in how you can hurt your opposition than how you can help your guild, guild leadership most def not for u.

It probably wasn't feasible to snipe any other targets since you kill vs / sev. / inny / tal within 35 minutes, and they had no shot at clearing CT in time, combined with the fact tune was prolly ready at a moments notice to train faydedar to the iksar guild master.

20 Nihi decided to port on the 15 mid 55's Hokuten trying to snatch Djorn and shit stomped em.

We went for PD, meh.

If they could have taken targets while Nihi went to fear it would have been ideal, but low population, hard to find good recruits, off hours etc.

Now they need these warm bodies to get more crowns for the rest of their core. That's what R99 is all about to these guys. They will cry sim repops, variance, etc just to get those PD loots... That is the bottom line...

The crowns that I know of went to Lite on Novus [still plays and is actively helping Hokuten], Slathar on Coat [still plays and has been helping], and Jibeknn who leads Hokuten. So I'm not sure how you want to claim they are crowns of retirement for Azrael members.

Also, I don't want to see any Nihilum members crying about loot shenanigans with Azrael when your guild leader was banned for RMT, there are daily posts on Nihilum message boards asking where guild bank items went, and the entire system is a disaster. Let's be real, all the guilds on this server have terrible loot systems, little to no officer/leader accountability, and would never last on a server with actual pop and competition such as Blue99, where guilds are forced to be transparent or lose members to other dragon slaying guilds.
