Or several.

I'm a level 50 Enchanter with 2 friends about to start playing. What is our best trio option for 50+ content? Getting them to 50 with me will be fast and easy, so I am only worried about 50+

I was thinking Monk+Cleric+Enchanter...

If you have a trio suggestion let me know why you chose the classes you did.

Thanks!

Boxxing is the wrong term to use for players playing separate characters. Just FYI. Actual boxxing is a bannable offense here.

Forgive my misuse of the word. There will be 3 players on 3 computers in 3 locations. I will change my original post to reflect such.

Enchanter+Cleric is a given IMO.

Monk - brings tank, pulls, DPS. Downside is you can't let charmed per tank while monk DPSes.
Shaman - brings better slows, a few handy buffs, Malo for charmed pet, backup heals and root.
Druid - brings backup heals, ports, second charmer if animals present.
Mage - brings pulls with CotH (sort of only used in very dangerous locations due to mana cost), Malo for charmed pet, backup pet to tank in charm breaks, DPS, weapons for charmed pet

Personally I'd suggest the 3 casters over a monk. Cause charmed pets are better tanks than players... And far more interesting.

You're making a convincing case for a mage. Hadn't even considered that. Thanks.

you have some wiggle room on what they would like to play given that chanters can charm a tank/dps npc for yall but cleric is always nice for rezzes and solid heals .. id say a cleric or sham .. and the 3rd guy gets a kinda free pick on what they like best.. but id agree 3 casters is probably the strongest ... mag is nice for the utilitys and the pet though...that and yall can go farm the same type loot

Also worth noting, Bard.

Especially if your friend is a stoner or has to AFK a lot. When he AFKs have him sing his single target mez song with your charmed pet targeted.

Every 6 seconds it will pulse and mez. Acting as a glorious safety net for charming even while he is AFK.

While he is awake he can help CC, regen, pull and sort of assist with charming DPS.

that and c2+ bard mana regen is glorious ... and done right they will level quick ..

Monk chanter cleric lets you pretty much take on any farmable mob (i.e. Kith DEs, Tranix, Fungi king, Crypt (if a rogue opens the door) ). Depends what your end game wishes are

Enchanter shaman and necro, imo. Especially when the shaman is epic and torpor. The root/rotting capabilities are huge, enchanter can control adds, extra pet dps, slows everywhere, so sick

I highly recommend mage or sham. Mage, sham and ench can solo most camps by themselves. I can't think of a single non-raid mob that a Mage, Cler, Ench can't handle. I think you can even do Queen/King. Here's why I recommend the mage: melee push. There are mobs like DEs that NEED to be pushed in order to keep them from healing/nuking. Coercer hits for 400ish? and to keep a pet healed is drain on a cleric, but if you have all 3 (cleric, mage pet and ench pet) meleeing it keeps the push strong enough to keep the mobs pushed. That is the same for all casting mobs.

I have had a lot of success with a shaman cleric ench, Mage would would be a fantastic swap for sham. Because you'd get a mr debuff but the best is when your pet & his pet are on the mob and your charm breaks, if the mob isn't rooted or root just broke, the mob would stay on Mage pet and you don't have 2 on you to deal with while you recharm.

Necro too sure, no mr debuff but the can FD pull some shit too I guess.

The correct answer is two more enchanters.

I may be biased, but I used to box with a shammy, cleric and a SK. Clerics are too important, and seems you are an enchanter... I would have to go with a shammy. Dots, slows, buffs, backup heals, SoW, etc.

I would choose a monk first over a mage just for pulling purposes, but either way you cannot go wrong with either I think.

Warrior / Cleric / Enchanter strongest trio.

Add Shaman / Monk and best group around.

Yeah.. I've boxed that combo on PEQ:The Grand Creation, pretty solid. Then you can always find some game friends to join you, more dps + utility etc. There is a lot of that floating around on this server lfg too. But this imo is the starting basis for most any group content, especially indoors/dungeons. I know three boxing isn't as efficient as multy-player, but on early live I capped a cleric, and this was the usual combo I'd often set out with from my friends/guild for anything more serious. Since boxing is outlawed here (part of why I play here), there are always people lfg, so not a problem filling in more to the group. But most anything should work: priest + caster + dps/tank.
