Heh. I remember when we were just wide-eyed at the idea that the server would reach 200 people, and when it did, it was a major accomplishment.

When the server reached 300, everyone was going nuts. I think it was about when the server reached 600 or 700 players that people stopped worrying about every 100 players.

<3 this server, will be here definitively until Diablo 3 or SW:TOR Releases, which, I hope, won't be until we are well into velious = )

I was actually more surprised to see ~850 people on at 2:30PM today. Usually it hovers around 500-600 until night time EST.

I like to think that people are generally good people... for the most part.

I doubt a lot of them are boxers. too many good convos and such to all be boxin. I'm sure there are some, every game has em, but there cant be that many.

I think that most people come to play this server in packs. I brought my father, brother, and friend to P99 and needed IP exemptions at least for the brother and father at the time. I'm sure it's the same way for most people out there

I did see a bard PL boxing his rogue on the chessboard in BB. Annoying to say the least but its pretty hard to prove someones boxing, but ill just say it was obvious to me. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!

Idk how a bard PL's anything, much less a rogue, but just fraps it. it'll be obvious when they don't move in unison and such.

They could play songs and leave group before the mob dies right? It'd be annoying but if that's all you got to work with...

Edit: Oh and the fact they went linkdead at the same time later while I was waiting for a boat raises suspicions as well.

Thats what I plan to do, mostly I just hope this player reads the forums and realizes that hes gonna get caught and stops it. The next one I see will get the hammer for sure, especially once Im high enough to invis and watch em for 5 without getting suspicious.

I would attribute the population swell to the fact that PEQ, EZ server and Irreverant have been or are currently down within the last 4-5 days.

I'm only here because PEQ is down. I want so badly to like P99, but somehow this server is an exercise in extremism. Either its perma-camped with a 'no-list' policy (FYYFF powerlevelers), or I can't bribe people to group up. Soloing a shaman is...slow and I get bored quickly and log off. Everytime I log on I end up scratching my head over how a server with 1/3 the population of my old live server can be twice as camped.

Playing your alts... or simply being logged off.

Noone in DA has to camp raid targets. It is not required. Many people go afk and get on alts. The only difference is we had our characters logged in.

If you cant understand the difference between tracking for mobs and sitting at their spawn point with 40 people. Your a lost cause.

Lord Nagefan spawned today and was killed within 2 minutes of spawning. The only way to compete with that is to poopsock yourself at the spawn point with the other guild and we do not do that. We put ourselves in the best situation to compete that we could short of poopsocking ourselves and thats all we could do.

Like I said, thanks for bringing it back. I missed it. Guess its time to take another break from P99 until this is over...
