May as well be that way. It only dropped off Aaryonar and King Tormax, and very rarely off each.

For all intents and purposes, that spell didn't exist in classic.

Infact, so much so, that the only evidence I see of it is post-Luclin.

I wouldn't rule it out, on account of being really rare from KT and Aary during Luclin... But they did retroactively add some drops to Velious during Luclin. And Caster's Realm doesn't have it listed until Luclin.

Caster's Realm doesn't show it until I think October 2002.
Allakhazam page for the spell doesn't have any comments til 2005
Allakhazam page for Aary has a comment in December 2002
Allakhazam page for KT has no comments at all about the spell.

Mentions it dropping March 2002, after the patch that added ancients to Vulak.

All spells on alla via Lucy show 2002 so that is out as post luclin evidence

Sir, this is not my first Rodeo.

I am not referring to the spell effect (added to Allakhazam in March 7th, 2002, along with the creation of Lucy.Allakhazam). I'm referring to the actual spell scroll item. That spell scroll is so rare that no one commented on the scroll itself until 2005.

As stated above, Alla posts from 2002 on Aary page confirm it dropping and 2002 from EQClerics confirm it dropping 2002 as well.

Dementing Visions is listed. As is Koadic's Endless Intellect...

Sounds to me like a late Velious addition or an early Luclin addition. I fail to believe that from December 2000-October 2001 no one discovered the spell across all servers.

If this is one of the ancient spells, they weren't added until luclin.

Was probably even longer before they were retroactively added to velious bosses.

Would post proof but literally googling any ancient spell name will bring you to lots of posts regarding them. None of them mention pre-luclin as being a viable source for them that I've been able to find.

Now I know that doesnt mean they didn't drop prior to Luclin but these spells were still comparable to luclin + POP spells. Adding them in kunark, to me, is not classic/too game breaking in some cases.

Confirmed not an ancient spell. Still not a classic spell. Find me evidence it dropped from Aary or Tormax, pre-Luclin. Cause I currently can find none.
