I posted this in the Starting Out section but thought I would post here as well.

Recently returning to the game and was wondering if there is any interest in people starting fresh untwinked. I still havn't even decided on a class but want to gauge the interest to see if anyone would be up for it. If you are PM me and we'll discuss classes / play times ect..

Found some like minded new players today while leveling the mage. Joined up with them in the guild "Covert." Anyone here who was interested send me or anyone in the guild a whisper for an invite. Got vent up and running. Let's get some good ol' fashion classic EQ grouping going! See ya all there.

I think the main reason people won't play on red is this reason - people love their TunnelQuest bought pixels far too much to let them go :(

I was really excited to start out untwinked and classic when I first got on p99, and within 10 levels people in EC were throwing bronze and banded armor and crested mistmoore shields at me and there was no way I was going to turn it down because wolves were slaughtering me in the dark and I didn't want to have to run to the guards every 10 minutes for the rest of my life


You forget how hard it is to play this game when you have nothing, but you will soon rememberrrrrrrrr


Permadeath server sounds sick but ultimately it is the key to the floodgates of mass nerd suicide that were closed so long ago when Sony bought Verant and decided a game that was a constant emotional assault on a person's well-being perhaps wasn't the best business model, and from that epiphany came a new generation of mmos where shit is handed to you and you can't possibly lose it all forever over something stupid like autofollow at the bottom of Sol B

Haha.. Of the entire reason I posted this thread "untwinked" takes the cake .. Whatever, I'm really just trying to get new players together to have some fun and if a few twinks get in big deal.. Relax guys, just trying to foster an atmosphere where ppl new to this server can have some fun

Level at 50 a 96% Rez would get you back to level 48 from 1.

yeah, monks do it okay... wouldn't want to be a warrior with FS weapons though :p

Run mail delivery in felwithe the first seven levels, or more if you want (can fight a little on runs to get skills up). Take the 50-100pp (~50pp @ lvl5) from that and grab some armor off a vendor. Bang - armored - classic.
