AFK hunting spots

So, I've levelled my druid to 56 and since I generally don't have hours a day to play, I like to leave my char afk in a spot and then time the spawn and come back and down it every time it pops. Usually do a workout or house work at the same time.

Can anyone give me some good spots to do this, and level ranges? I've found my final spot to level my druid to 60, but I need some spots for my 20 enc. I will probably do specs at 40ish, Tim Spirocs at 47ish possibly, possibly dorfs in bb from 30-40ish.

Any other suggestions?

SK aviaks? good til 25-26 i think.. perhaps start on them in Lake Rathe as you'll be a bit low for the avocets at 20.

I can think of a few other ideas but I assume you wont want to wreck your factions as an enchanter :p

Any suggestions are good. Is the enchanter epic fairly intricate when it comes to faction variety required?

Spiders at the bottom of the HHP ramp in EK should still be good for a couple of levels into your 20s.

I did upper guk 20 to 34 on my ench.


Ancient croc camp is great for "afk camping" as you put it. It gives great exp like 28 to 35+ and you may get a few loots out of it.

Second this. I afk-camped AC from 29-39 on my SK, made around 10-12k from sleeves and legs when I left and finally hit the tunnel.

Targishin in Field of Bone for level 36+ Cleric, 25-30 minute respawn I forget, don't know if this is a good chanter mob.

Really good xp here for low 20s, and you can afk. One of the best parts about this spot is you're able to drag spiders over to the wandering guard, let the guard get the spider to 5-10%, then charm. When the guard gets out of aggro range, you can break the charm and kill the spider. ez pz

I think Castle Mistmoore is the place to be till like level 35ish. Not the best Zem in the world or the best loot but I think it is the BEST place to go. You can learn how to be a Enchanter there and that is a good thing. :D

I don' think there are many safe spots to afk in MM. :)

Got the sister hut in OOT where they drop 11 pp each kill but 6 minute respawn timer and are usually camped as far as I know. Around 31-33 the halfling guards in Misty Thicket open up.

I've tried this with my enchanter but for some reason I wasn't getting full xp.

I did this leveling my first P99 toon (root/rotting shaman). EK Crag Spiders was great spot (just afk on the ramp...) until 24ish I think. Next I did EF mammoths, but you would want SoW for that because you'll always be encumbered looting those phat tusks. Upper 20s you could do HK guards. Plenty of spots to afk there.

Aoe kiting will get you both fastest

Orcs in Oasis until 18
Gorge hounds and gnolls (separate pulls) in EK until 20
Overthere until 25
LOIO from 25-30
30-50 in OT again
50+ group or slog through kiting pain-in-the-ass mobs in BW

Honestly though, just group if you want to actually enjoy playing a Bard. AOE kiting is pretty boring once the "whoa I can kill 100 things at once" honeymoon wears off.

Charm killing is pretty awesome as a bard, too. I blasted through level 59 in BW by charm killing (swarm kiting still works, kind of).

Also, you can take out level 50 mobs as a level 27 bard, which i think is one of the more impressive things you can do in this game.

Permafrost bear pits. You can do that afkmoded if you really want. Will be decent exp but it's way better to do it actively.

yep. get a goblin ring and you're PLing yourself. works great in rathe mountains, or anywhere with high level vendors. dragoons and gargoyles in OT are legit for this

I can't wait to be 27 and get charm. Planning on getting one of those rings too, looks pretty simple.

How much higher lvl of a mob can I charm at lvl 27?
