I thought it was going to be about everquest, darn.
Yeah you need to work on the flow in your voice with the beat along with the lyrics you're spitin. It's hard to capture people with a song, practice and sometimes pure luck is all it takes.

If you haven't you should start writing down everything that comes to your mind. carry around a small pocket sized notebook and pen or pencil so when something comes to you, you can capture it.

I also recommend instead of listening to rap songs, find their roots. Plus don't listen to trash overated pos rappers. That will help you hugely. check out some of the underground rap scene stuff.
ps. find someone else IRL who likes rap and spit a rap to them in person, it will make it feel more natural and give you more confidence on the mic.
