Inte spawns on the floor of the island as if the windmill is not there, and he is on no faction.

Inte Akera is not accepting either Soulfire or Ghoulbane for the two blessings.

He simply hands either item back and asks 'What am I supposed to do with these?' This is with warmly faction, which should be more than enough.

Oddly enough also, after he spawns he then proceeds to sit on the floor of the windmill instead of standing!

Fiery Avenger - Plane of Sky quest - which, yes is a component of the epic later on, but a classic quest in its own right.

Correct. Inte also doesn't accept my items.

I think I speak for all paladins when I ask for help fixing this quest.

It requires two separate 1-week spawns and is far and away our best item in this era of the game.

This should be fixed now.... there was a faction issue in the code where no one was of the correct faction. I tested it and it seems to be working (at least I got my FA)

While I appreciate you guys fixing it so quickly, is there a possibility of this getting in as a hotfix? There are three people who are waiting on a quest that involved killing 3 raid bosses (each), not something to be taken lightly. We put a lot of effort into the quest!

Otherwise I guess i'll spend 8 more hours farming rep in toxx tonight. :(

Is still eating items/not accepting them. I con him ally, turned in the ghoulbane to receive one of his blessings and he ate the sword. no text, no blessing, nothing. He goes threw the quest text just fine when hailed. He is also still up an hour after spawning him.

Im not sure if this matters but i handed in ghoulbane BEFORE soulfire as its easier to replace. After he ate the GB, i never tried the soulfire. Kinda risky if he eats it >.<

You are doing something wrong since it works on test, and 2 other people have completed this since last patch.

i cant imagine what it possibly could be. Dialogue works. My faction is ally with him, hes just not taking the turn in and not giving back the blessing. Also hes STILL up and hes sposed to despawn shortly after you spawn him.

I spawned Inte a number of times this week. Each time he despawned within 5 minutes or so. When my faction was warmly he simply handed the items back, he didn't eat them (and I tried both Soulfire and Ghoulbane, each time I spawned him).

When my faction was ally, I handed in Soulfire first, received the first blessing, Ghoulbane next, received the second blessing, and then turned in the two blessings, plus head & robe together. Once I received FA he immediately despawned.

Given that 'ally' status was not around during the initial FA quest in 2000, should the faction requirement be 'warmly' only?

I asked nilbog last night when I made the fix. He said it's not doable on live without restarting every other running script (many of which are respawn timers). Gotta wait for the update, sorry.

BTW, you'll know if he's working, because he will sit when he's done buffing. If he's not sitting, don't hand him any items, it means he wasn't updated yet.

Wish I saw this. He's still broken, even if you have ally faction.

Bump. Spawned underneath of the windmill for me (Indomitable) around 11:50 EST 9/14/11. Pinpointed his location with /targ inte and hailing, but didn't figure out that he was actually spawned yet underneath the windmill until it was too late for Amelinda to show up in time to help me.

Spawned Inte Akera, handled Ghoulbane and Soulfire sepereatly, he said something like "What should I do with these?" and that's about that. No Blessings, no swords returned and in the end no Fiery Avenger :mad:
