55 Shaman, where to solo?

Just got back to the server recently, does anyone know of a good spot to solo? I tried the guards outside of Halas but they resisted every spell that I threw at them.

try the guards in everfrost peaks, not the ones outside of Halas but the ones down a bit...actually if you head out of BB, just stay right and u will run into them. There are 3 total. Two are static and one is a roamer...

Okay so thats what they meant about Everfrost guards... got it. Thanks for both of the suggestions! Also for HS how hard is it to solo there if the zone in is repoped?

If you have your epic, HS Entrance is the best place,zone in root/rot the 2 entrance mobs, then do each side N,E,S,W, 2 mobs per pull. KC captain camp would be my second pick.

Solb was always my favorite solo exp spot, exp per kill just always seemed better than any of the kunark zones.

I did the top floor of CoM until 56 and got Paralyzing Earth then I just did HS until 60

I do not have an epic, nor do I think I have the funds to purchase one. So that is basically out of the question being guildless at this time. I tried the 3 barb camp in everfrost (not sure If I was at the right camp) the mobs were green (Light blue) to me and after clearing them for like an hour I got one blue tick of xp. One of the Barbarian mobs was named Dom McMarrin at approximately 557.52, -2020.81.

Yeah it's much better to stick with blues than greens (lb).

Epic is really everything solo. All of the guides for 50+ solo require epic or assume it anyways. If you don't have it you'll more or less be straddled with 2 at a time MAX.

Even with the epic, early root breaks are the bane of the shaman since root-rotting 4 at a time is a tedious juggle of root/dot spell timers. I never found a spot on the com ramparts that wasn't at least a 4 spawn when you counted all the roamers. It's great xp but you really gotta sit on the arena and watch and learn.

HS entrance is good too. Spawns are much easier to manage there since you can choose how many you want to engage (minimum 2). Watch for the east pather and honestly, keep your roots away from the east quadrant of the entrance platform.

Barbarians could be good xp because of newb zone modifier.

Tl;DR life is tough without epic. Some good places but almost all soloing is using epic.

Guess I will start working on my epic then and hopefully get in a raid for a tear at some point.
