Patch Issue?

Having a minor problem.

I installed titanium fresh. set up the eqhost file and such.

Used the beta patch from project1999.org facepage.

And it logs in to character select. but it tells me my patch files are out of date from eqchanges.zip or something??

You need to use the latest live p99 patch. They are synced in terms off patch level at the moment.

Should make a copy off the directory though and new shortcut, just in case they require different patches in the future. That way you don't have to repatch each time you want to play on a different server.

Yea it is a seperate directory, I copied V33 patch over and.. it logged in but still seemed strange..

locked up when i tried to enter world.

relogged in and says spell files is outdated.. hmm..

I'm thinking a reinstall is in probably in my near future just to start over without all the re-copied patch files..

my normal P99 directory logs into p99 blue just fine. my normal p99 is Eqlite. so i wasnt sure if that would work or not..

but if i try to use it to log into beta it says the same. spell files outdated.

same for if i try to use the Beta directory i just made with fresh titanium..

You can ignore the beta patch completely. its old and not needed. you might have to just do a fresh install. Honestly the eqlite version is really worth it. Just stick with a full install and use the v33 files.

Still a no go,

wiped previous BETA directory attempt. CC cleaned it then after.

Reinstalled fresh titanium, changed eqhost file as needed.

Copied over freshly downloaded v33

And still strange issue.

it logs into character select but the buttons are greyed out and it says 0 unknown over the characters head. and if i click Enter button. it says you have been disconnected

ugh.. i feel foolish.. i idnt know you had to use the /beta command on blue to copy the char you were on. i thought you did it in game on beta.. figured i out. sorry to waste peoples time.
