Can we please Sticky the new Leaderboard. hate having to keep looking for the thread, thanks !

I also ask the community to monitor the scores so that we are all actively ensuring we have an honestly ran board and non of the nonsense of the past.

r99pvp.com is work in progress that is still already vastly superior to any leaderboard experiencing manipulation or rage-based outages for 3 months. Also, our scoring system is worlds better than that of the other board; we place a higher value on kills of skilled players, and a lower value on kills of lower-performing players.

I'll be starting a poll or two regarding some choices to be made on the new leaderboard (styling, features).

I'm not really sure what features are missing (aside from a more proper player/guild search) unless you want worthless stuff like being able to sort a column alphabetically or whatever.

And I apologize for the slow pace of development the last few days - I've been really busy. We will continue to work to bring you the best leaderboard possible. Thanks for visiting!

Elder an has multiple logging sources and processes for round the clock log accuracy.

Quido has 1 logger (himself) and it requires him to be online/home/computer on etcetc.

Whether u like either of them or not, one is vastly superior to the other.

Until quido grows up and does something more than copying Google code in a public forum he's nothing more than a text book programmer with lackluster products.

Well he admitted it in his own thread that there was at least one specific time where he wasn't recording.

I understand the initial stance of GMs not making a leaderboard because some people just don't like how it effects game play. The problem with such a small community with a highly used forum is that any player can implement a leaderboard that is basically crammed down the communities throat.

GMs need to make their own leader board and have it accessible in game so everyone can stop worrying about who makes the boards. The two leaderboards that are up should give the GMs enough to go off of to create their own version. If Jeremy of Elderan helped implement the in game leaderboard I don't think anyone would mind as long as they don't have access to tamper with it in the future.

Since then I have mostly focused on windows service and forms applications with heavy sql back end work. This is the type of work my company focuses on now.
