Should i sell everything i own before Velious hits?

Might sound crazy, but i was thinking when Velious comes out, its going to drive the prices down in EC on just about everything pre-velious. So would it make sense to sell all droppables right now so i'll have alot more money come velious? I've noticed the prices have gone down considerably on items i once paid alot of money for. (Oggok Cleaver, Cobalt Helm, Runed Blade to name a few)

As long as you can play without them and find good prices - probably a good long term investment. Aside from items that will no longer drop, prices always fall over time.

Well I have no clue what guild you belong to but unless you are in say the top three you will not get any of the "top gear" for months. And if you are unlucky as hell like I am on rolls you still won't get good gear. Best keep what you have. Great gear from Velious will be so expensive at the start you will have to win the Lotto if you are not the Head Tank in a great guild.

there are some items which will fall pretty steeply once velious hits. others that will be relatively unchanged. in the end, everything goes down (velious release or not) except for the nerfed/removed items.

high end droppable armors (certain kunark class BPs/Legs/culturals) which are replaced with MQable pieces are prob the big hit most folks need to watch out for. But even there it won't be an over night collapse...it will take a few months for MQable gear to filter all the way down the food chain.

Velious is going to bring a lot of people back and create a lot of demand for alt gear. Don't be surprised if some items go up in price. Obviously items like NoS will drop because there will be many better alternatives, but a number of Kunark items stay useful through Velious.

Tons of Great items in velious that drop like candy. SCHW, Spider fur belt, hybrid cloaks etc. There are a bunch of easy to camp gear come velious that blows kunark stuff out of water. to the OP - probably should have dumped the stuff a few months back. Market is already slowing down in anticipation of velious.
