Another shaman Epic question

I looked on forums and see peg leg crap but i heard about rez locking gems and eruds crossing turn in. is this the fastest way? and how people PL and sell rep? just curious. also when you do this turn in at Eruds crossing doesnt the person you turn it into start running?

People don't typically sell Rep. People that sell the Shaman Epic require that you have the Reputation to do the turnin.

At what level are you planning in buying the epic? I would advise strongly against buying it at level 1.

Assuming you have haste and a fungi you'll be using 2hb weapons until the 40s.
I used a poison wind censer till 30 and then a Granite face grinder after that. I mainly solo'd with melee and even tanked a few groups in MM.
I went to CoM at 39 and found the mobs weren't as tankable without slow so I was relegated to caster mode. Heals, slows, dots, etc. THAT is when I started working on my epic.
I did the epic as normal (choosing the starting place is up to you) all the way up to the books in CoM. You want to do this no matter what so you get the instant clicky SoW boots.
Once I got to the books in CoM part I farmed them because the turnin was so easy.

Note: You can turnin 2 book sets at once. You get a container, put all the boots inside and click combine. Then collect all the books again. Go to the sentinel right outside CoM and turn in the combined container. Say the keyword to get another container, put all the books in and hit combine. Turnin that item and say the keyword to get another container. Then head back to CoM and do it all over again.
Do this until you get the message that your faction could not get any better.

Once it's maxed then you can buy the Childs tear and turn it in to the Sentinel in EJ.
NOTE! VERY IMPORTANT! The sentinel you turn the books into IS NOT the sentinel you turn the tear into.
The tear goes to the sentinel under the lake far north in EJ.

The epic is awesome. But using it as a melee weapon isn't as good as a GFG. I wouldn't advise getting it before you can click it which is at level 50.
