Hello,
I am currently a level 36 magician looking to level up. I know that Mistmoore Castle is a great spot, but you absolutely need a group to fight there. I am currently in Frontier Mountains, soloing blues at the entrance, but the grouping options seem rather limiter around here.
The amount of time and concentration that I can put into a single gaming session isn't always the same, so I would like to have the ability to group and solo.
My question is:
Is there a good zone which allows soloing for a magician of my level, as well as having some group action in the same zone, or in a zone which is pretty close?
Thank you!

Yeah, you can do Highkeep guards solo from 35 to 40 or so. After that I'd suggest grouping in CoM.

what about pally? It's really hard to solo as pally to have decent xp

I did this at 45 and it was great solo xp - but gd it was boring so I quit after about half a level...
Hmm 35-40 hmmm... since SolB is a great area for that level, might I suggest just soloing near the zone to solA and keeping your lfg tag up and maybe /ooc'ing or sending some tells to groups already formed - then you get droped into a group until it breaks up then back to soloing at zone until a new group opens up. Thats my favorite way to solo, that way its never the same old thing for hours at end.
Usually I end up soloing for about 4-6 kills then a duo/trio for an hour back to solo yada yada.
I would rec CoM for the same thing but place is often empty. Also Lower guk would be really great for you - do the bedroom until or if you geta group - move to sage when you get 38 then add the exe when you get 40 then sage/exe/cave once you start noticing you are FM the whole time :)
*edit* adding sage tips - clear the pather that walks into the exe by sitting on the blood stain on the floor outside the exe room - he will not social agro the room if you do this - to pull the sage stand outside the room where you can see the scribe PH pull it and it will not add the 2 wizards secretly hiding behind the wall waiting to gang r**e you if you try to walk into room without IVU or pull from inside the room.
At 35 I would kill the 2 pathers - then 12 minuets later kill the sage room - repeate - get loot & xp and wear that cord & cowl with pride :)

Unrest basement really depends on class, skill and knowledge of pathing and pulls for solo there . . . enchanter, bard, pally, druid . . . anything that can lull, basically, is good. Monk also not bad if the player isn't terrible (most monks this level are pretty terrible though). It's not all roses though. Beware druid PLer's. They are the biggest cunts on the entire server and use Unrest frequently. They will try and steal your mobs from basement and pull through your camp. They know that the GM's don't really enforce good behavior in lowbie zones, so they frequently break server rules and get away with it no matter how much people petition.
Also, if anyone 32-37ish wants to duo with my bard in basement let me know. I can solo about 60% of it safely. Would be nice to deny Druid PLer's any chance of basement mobs though, so you're welcome to join me for this reason (in addition to social/boredom reasons). It's more fun with another person, anyhow.
