Ok, Having a strange problem now. Basically when I was playing before everything was mostly legible, get the game loaded up today and even with /chatfontsize 5 or however you type it, I can barely read the print in chat, let alone the text from anything else.
Two simple questions is there smewhere I can change these fonts? Or is there a good ui that A) won't tell me my spells are out of date and B) let's be change the fontsize until I find one that I can read?

Goto your eqclient.ini file in your eq folder and cntrl+f chatfont. attached a pic of what it looks like. Not sure if it will let you go past 5 but this would be where I'd think you could do that.

Did you maybe set your UI scale really small and that's why you can't read anything?

I've had UI problems forever. Though it probably won't help, I do have a tip that you can actually set your chat font size to 6 (at least on my client). /chatfont 6.

Oh? The client supports UI scaling? Tell me more...

Yes, would also like to know how to change UI scaling and can't seem to find anything in the ini files because I don't know exactly what I am looking for
To give some perspective I am usually playing on a 37 inch 1080p screen with the resolution for my windowed eq to run at 1600something by 900 so I can see behind it to broswe the web and what have you

Man I love how fast these threads descend dangerously close to RnF
Edit: Moral of the story, even on an HDTV you have to sit 2-3 feet from your monitor.
Half the reason I play games on an HDTV is to sit back and being able to not keep the stupid "office chair" posture(I like to slouch when gaming lol)

Pretty sure everything in ui files is restricted to just hardcoded /chatf 0-5.
If you want to change fontsize on other ui elements (window titles, macros) the code is <font>0-5</font>
Try using a new font face that is inherently larger. Use Google font (https://www.google.com/fonts) to identify a large one you can read on your other monitor. I believer /chatf 5 is size:16px so set that and play with width/thickness filters.

Seriously. I'm playing on a 3200x1800 screen and I would love me some UI scaling.
