Rogue off hand question

Overall I think the razor sharp short sword (http://wiki.project1999.com/Razor_Sharp_Short_Sword) is BiS for rogues but that drops in VP.

Outside of VP I see most rogues using edge of the nightwalker (http://wiki.project1999.com/Edge_of_the_Nightwalker) or for something a little cheaper you can get blade of the green dragon eye (http://wiki.project1999.com/Blade_of_the_Green_Dragon_Eye)

Edge of the Nightwalker does a fine job. Outside of having access to VP (being in TMO/IB etc) I'd aim for one of those.

Seb Croaking Dirk makes a better offhand than the BotGDE. Either get an Edge of the Nightwalker or a Sebilite Croaking Dirk.
BotGDE was only good pre-epic.

Jagged Blade of Mourning is another great rogue off hand with MR that no one has mentioned that isn't super expensive.

^ horribly overpriced for the ratio. Don't gear your weapon slots for stats or resists. Those slots are for damage. Seb Dirk is best bang for buck weapon, EoN if you're feeling fancy. I prefer the dirk personally. Disregard any other suggestions in this thread besides those two weapons.

Blade of the Green Dragon Eye (5 PR): 13/24 = 0.542; 19K
Sebilite Croaking Dirk (4 AC, 2 cha, 2 agi, 5 MR, 5 PR): 10/18 = 0.556; 16K
Edge of the Nightwalker (8 str, 8 dex, 8 agi): 14/25 = 0.56; 60K
Razor Sharp Short Sword (7 str, 7 dex): 16/26 = 0.616; not purchaseable

Edge of Nightwalker is pretty much a rip off compared to the others, but if you have nothing to spend platinum on, why not? I still think I'd rather have 5 MR and 5 PR than no resists on EoN with an almost unnoticeable increase in damage output.

Sebilite Croaking dirk is the best you can get without spending an insane amount of money, with an awesome ratio and 5 mr, pr. If I still had mine i'd probably wear it over my EoN.

i <3 my katana of falling stars for dragons where I need to max resists, RSSS for everything else. You get some huge offhand hits w/ Katana and duelist.
