Ode to bards

There is no insult I could ever say, no word I could ever find that could properly express how much I hate bards on this server. I just don't see how I never had a problem with bards at any point in live EQ or on progression servers and yet its a non-stop problem here. Its hard enough to level up to constantly have to deal with not finding any mobs due to bards AE kiting outdoor zones. The problem isn't even really with them pulling those mobs... its that they take 30 min to kill them so everyone is sitting with no spawns while bards kill their mobs. Since nothing will be done to nerf them at this point how about we just give them death touch. Every bard can get to 60 instantly, but at least mobs will be able to respawn.

Can confirm that Puddems bard and mine had many fights over OT which landed in train deaths.

Don't level in zones that are known bard kiting zones? Plenty of places to level up.

Top box pleasures include dispelling / snaring kiting bards and druids/wizards.

i understand your pain, but there is a command called /petition which is highly effective. far more effective, if i were to guess, than RnF

If only you could kill said bard, say when all the mobs are down to fleeing health and then you can steal the exp, too.
