Ah the old days, Not sure what he was doing bound in RV at the time. One disc + raid buffs, Lvl 61 NPC assist won't prevent that first death. If someone killed him after I don't know.

Nihilum has a big problem with what i call sand bag players, people who have put there time in at one point or another, that have earned the right in the leadership's eyes to show up once a week to VP, with there 800dkp, afk through the raid and win crowns and all the good stuff.

jesus mr quack quack, isn't the problem that everyone joined one guild and the very few who enjoy pvp remains outside? A 80/20 ratio isn't going to make the game fun for anyone unless you enjoy raiding and getting pixels (very little or zero competitive pvp).

So let me get this straight, You are mad that I took a boat ride from FP through OOT after being bored from a finished sky raid and was 100% unbuffed yet you found me after about 10 minutes I wonder how hard it was to simply look for the boat considering im a melee. I then proceeded to eat 2 nukes from you and go diving while your OOR druid pal followed us around everywhere we went. I had no interested in a 1v3 with a OOR healer unbuffed. My only aim was to hope you took the bait and then bite which you did.

I swam for 5+ minutes at the bottom of the ocean, I eventually stopped to BP up which I can only assume you were running at the top with track waiting, I danced a few more of your nukes well in advance knowing I had to gate pot. Channeling a gate pot aint so easy when your falling in water you know? takes a few tries sometimes. But Is it very unfortunate you still could not kill me despite all of the resources you had available.

The next time I actually lower my standards to resort to killing people who do nothing and still do nothing but port around from OOT and other newbie areas just to gank farmers/expers and run away I will let you know. it was quite the shock to tell you the truth, i had believed everything that was being "relayed" to me through lite about the "evil nizzar and his band of RMTers" that i never questioned what he said, i assumed it was a known thing that nizzar really did RMT and was some kinda kingpin.

when i joined nihilum i found that to be simply untrue and not further from the truth and the nihilum loot policy and how it handles it to be one of the best i have ever seen in mmorpgs's.

edit: I am pretty ashamed for basically falling into a cult mentality in azrael and allowing myself to be used by such a greasy grimey cesspool of leaders/string pullers. uhg.

what? i have stated plenty of times there is no huge rmt scheme going on, not by nizzars doing. there is plenty of RMT between guild members but that is par for the course, i have been in azrael and been in nihilum, there is more in nihilum because there is a bigger playerbase.

Syft is pretty shit... he is a has-been that relied on jumping afk players or winning 3 to 1... when he failed to win he always resorted to his version of pvp, which is to make some huge epic story about exploits... even though he got me to 40% by free casting nukes on me afk, only to gate in the end and claim that he won...

He's fucking terrible... What kind of classic gamer doesn't read the patch notes and use clickies to refresh cooldowns... so fucking bad...

Alot of my friends from nihilum have been asking me why, and honestly it's such a big list of reasons i can't keep going over it with every single person.

This all started when i first joined the guild, and we started kicking out ragefire pearls. I have watched the ragefire loot rules change so many times, in order to out maneuver myself from aquiring the desired big loots, cloak of flames, etc. 4 times have loot rules changed, through 67 pearls, 67 ragefires spawned.

67 ragefires, 5 cloak of flames later, and 8 ragefire arms later, zooey still has neither. loot rules changes on the spot almost every time.

Things came to a head a few weeks back when the ragefire loot rules changed yet again, this time willian was in channel and he was so brazen to say "I don't want agatha having a bunch of cloak of flames".

What this came down to is, am i valued as a member, do i want to continue giving this guild my 12 hour days to a guild that does not trust me, nor value me and my contributions.

This all began with willan, and ended with willian, for some reason the duke value's this guys opinion above all else. He doesn't play, is terrible at playing, and is an all around asshole. Ever since the duke left to play d3 and he tried to take over during that brief period and failed horribly he singled me out for not attending his raids that were doomed from the start (anyone who would follow this guy into battle is a tard). Multitude's worse than lite at his worst type bad.

now, lets back up a bit, something went down in the guild that I'm not going to publicly address cause im not a scumbag, it was DKP related. and caused me to go through my personal logs and compare them to the DKP logs, i was at a 114dkp deficit with my brother who raids alot more than me missing quite a bit more than that. I looked at my competitors that i was neck and neck with over the course of a few months and would compare logs, there dkp was still advancing, staying above mine, when clearly according to my attendance logs i should be much further ahead. in jupes case it was much more clear a certain competitor of his who everyone clearly knows doesn't play was not only advancing but had jumped several hundred dkp out of thin air. This was clear targeted dkp manipulation.

This right here above is the main reason i left. below are some minor attributing factors that helped basically put me over the edge.

The regearing and roll over dkp of players that have RMT'd there characters in the past. enough said on that subject.

The allowance of bank access to items to players within the guild who are complete non factors, items going to people that will never use that item on there character to contribute towards a guild function in any shape or form, pixel hoarders that gear characters out and let them rot.

Bad players, screw ups on trivial shit, that we have done a million times, pets out while dragons are being pulled, forgeting to invis before we travel. proc weapons out on boss mobs pulling agro on enrage. meanwhile players like myself and others are giving it our all carrying the guild only to be beaten out by these players for loot.


So ya, i did what i did. And dont feel one bit bad about it. I thought Nihilum was going to be my saving grace on this server. the last true refuge. But i was wrong, dead wrong. In the coming weeks ill be assessing my situation and seeing if i can get a competing guild up and running, if not ill quit.

Not sure if you know this but EQ existed as a pay to play commercial success published by the Sony corporation. When referring to those servers people often use the term "live".

In fact project 1999 is built around the first two (soon to be three!) expansions from that era, spanning from 1999 to 2002.

There are those who do not, And to those who can keep a 12 hour raid going while being in their early to late 30s I applaud you for your dedication without needing to get high/drunk as a lot of people from the server do to deal with situations that arise to bypass some of the sheer stupidity of people or time.

When I was younger I played EQ sober, Same with WoW. I could sit there and raid molten core and other content for 12 hours no problem. Then eventually I realized how much more fun it is being stoned and how much quicker the time passes. I had heard Oddjob was back, Saw him or his characters around a few times in the last months but I don't think it was him. Guess hes really back for once, will he play his druid?
