Is there any way to get a truly classic UI? The closest I can find is from a 4 year old thread about higher resolution world textures, hosted at

http://p99.yourfirefly.com/

and it truthfully doesn't look quite as I recall.

But that was just the windowed classic UI. The full screen classic UI, which you could use since BETA looked like this:

I'm not sure why everyone thinks you could only use the windowed one during classic. Make your UI look like what I just posted and you're good to go.

No it isn't. Given that the Mayong Mistmoore event was pre-kunark and I remember being told "press f10" when I was like level 8 and going OMG the graphics!

Note the fact that there were only 6 hotbar buttons per page.

And in the kunark/velious UI there were 10. Might have added 10 during mid-kunark? I don't remember.

IIRC, the change during velious was that you could buy, sell, and look at your inventory without going windowed mode.

You mean this one?

Titanium doesn't support it; it was all hardcoded and not XML based. It would literally display the overlays in specific, hardcoded spots.

The closest you will get is an XML-based UI that looks like the classic one. You won't get the authentic crappyness, though, unless you use an older client (which P99 does not support (yet))

maybe something like this is what the people want. my only concern is being able to make it adapt to different resolutions.

I think gnoll was/is working on a project to get it working? Either way I would love to have it again, or at least a mock up of it for higher resolution.
