Hey guys,

Im returning to P99 after a decent break.. I only got a necro up to the mid teens but really that isnt what I want to play... What Ive really wanted to play is a rogue but from what Ive gathered its extremely painful to level one as your first character? Bascially what Im asking would I be better off sticking with the necro or leveling a rogue as my first toon from scratch?

Any help on the topic is much appreciated ! :)

Play the class you want to. Rogues can't solo well (or at all past 10~ untwinked), but that shouldn't stop you from playing one.

I love necromancers personally, but I have to second Enderenter's sentiment that you should simply play the class you want to play. You might not be an epic'd out rogue in gear that even I can't afford, but nothing can stop you from being a rogue!

What's your name in game? I can see about hooking you up with a set of banded in the next day or two, if you like.

Play what you want. I like having a character that has some help with travel - or who helps the person who handles the travel.

If you want to group a lot, consider that, if you might solo a lot then you might pick another class.

Welcome back! As other people have said it's really dependent on what you want. It might be easier for some people to level up a farming type character first but if it is just not going to be fun at all then that might not be the best idea. It's all up to you!

play a monk over a rogue, both do the same thing mostly but monk can tank/solo/pull.
